KCCC’s New EAP Service for Employees &Their Families
We are very proud to announce that on June 1, 2008, our new Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefit, called @Life, will be available for employees and their family members. The @Life Program is a confidential information, education, short term counseling and resource referral program for employees and their family members. The @Life Program helps find solutions to a wide variety of life’s questions and concerns.
In today’s fast paced world, trying to manage work, home, family, and all the associated demands can at times be a real test. Needless to say, we all take pride in the way we handle life’s challenges. But, every once in a while, wouldn’t it be nice if there was an experienced, objective professional that could just answer a confidential question or even help with one of those “tougher” life challenges. Helping employees and their loved ones keep life in balance is what the @Life Program is all about. A few of the more examples include: childcare and elder care questions, family and relationship concerns, stress and anxiety, life transition issues, financial and legal questions, or alcohol/drug problems.
Our new @Life Program will be set up and run by Alternatives, an organization that has been providing superior care and service to employees and their family members at a wide variety of companies since 1982. They have gained an outstanding reputation in the industry, and we are excited about this new benefit, be looking for more information soon.
