GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This position requires skill in preparing, cooking and serving meals. Also help maintain cleanliness of kitchen and cooking utensils.
REPORTS TO
Food Service Manager
JOB DUTIES
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Supervise stipend volunteer help.
- Prepare and serve meals designated for each shift.
- Supervise and assist preparation of sack lunches and late meals.
- Supervise and assist in the cleaning of the dining room and kitchen areas.
- Supervise and assist in cleaning of all food service equipment.
- Ensure all health department regulation are followed.
- See that KCCC rules are followed.
- Performance of any other duties as assigned by Food Service Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Cooks must have one (1) year of cooking experience. This experience may be restaurant or institutional.
And
Shall not be currently under the supervision of Federal, State, County and/or City corrections department.
